    Re-install is burying your head into the sand. You need to find out, how PC got infected to prevent it from happening in the future. I would "ignore it" and watch its behavior.

    To begin with this isn't going to happen with my setup, maybe I'm arrogant but realistic. If that ever happened, I would check my status with my credit cards first, get rid of my antivirus and Sandboxie (it is self destructing on his own anyways...) and restore an image/backup. No, I wouldn't waste any time trying to investigate how they got in...

    When and if my Linux Mint gets exploited I will make sure to post it here on wilders, reformat my hard drive and seek help here.

    I would try to find out how it happened. Then I would restore clean image and take precautionary actions as prevention from happening it again.

    I built a strong WHS server that checks everything every 18 hrs.
