    Depending on the context, some things need to be repeated. I think it's very appropriate here. Given the diversity of computing devices, we may soon see the end of this monopolistic nonsense that dominates the "desktop" in the name of de facto standards.

    Doubtless that, but your children or grandchildren may years down the road, when discovering that the gazillions of documents, government records, etc. were archived in a proprietary format.
    Hopefully, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, and others that have adopted ODF will not have that worry.

    I contacted the admins BlueZanneti and LowWaterMark, maybe they can offer some explanation. This is very frustrating. :(

    The explanation is this, we're all getting tired of the continuous bickering between a small number of you folks, who go after each other in thread after thread. This thread is only one example among many that have been dominated by you guys just bashing at each other, including reporting each others posts...then after reporting them, you wonder why we remove them. This thread has gone on long enough, too.
