Sometimes a person can have many different email addresses assigned to them. For instance, a person may have one at work, one at school, one for their important email at home, another for subscriptions/ promotions as those are apt to receive more spam. Sometimes a person tries a new email service provider but continue using older accounts. Take a quick inventory of yourself and see how many emails addresses you use.
Lets see . . . Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail and probably a couple ones i havent used in years. I would say that i have 4 - 5 active emails.
2, outlook and yandex, different providers, so I would not loose both in case of an emergency and also for recovery purposes, you never know, when may need it.
gmail for personal email and file storage gmail for forums/junk mail outlook exchange for school outlook email to access microsoft services
Four for me. I have a fastmail email address I've used for years. Also, a Gmail I use for my Android devices, the only time I actually use it is when I'm emailing an apk file to my phone. At work I have two email addresses. I do have a couple of other email accounts with fastmail and Hotmail, but I rarely use them.
1 gmail with my full name (also linked to android) 1 gmail for forums/subscriptions/alerts, etc. 1 gmail for one forum only (I'm the admin) 1 outlook to be deleted soon (replaced by the first gmail) 1 autistici.org for other stuff
A few primary ones and as for the rest, I don't bother to count. I find disposable email services quite handy.
I have at least six. My paid for Yahoo! is my principle mail for work & contacts like that (I also have a free Yahoo! Mail account), AOL & Zoho are the two I use as back up & for everything else. That leaves me with GMX as my back up, back up. I even use Outlook & Gmail on the odd occasion.
Active ones 2. But also at least 2 dozen disposable ones. (love the Yahoo disposable Addresses function, wish Gmail would start doing this !)
several. 2 personal 1 for forums 1 for kijiji only 1 for my work and a bunch of temporary ones. oh and a tormail account.
