Around six months ago I was looking for a (preferably) freeware replacement to McAfee. I had a list of AVs to try (including avast! & AVG). Eventually I tried two: The Panda Cloud & MSE. Panda didn't last a day, I kept MSE.

Im using Avira Personal for years, and i don't think i'll change it.
I tried MSE and Avast6(free) on a virtual-PC in virtualbox, and i uninstalled avast in about 5 minutes.
Maybe Avast it is good AV.. but it "SCREAMS" to you to upgrade to the paid version, so i kept the MSE, i like it better.

I got tired and busy installing other things on my pc. Antivirus is a boring program to tell you. hehehe :D .Testing this and that etc..

But anyway, I still tried AVG, BitDefender, Avira, Avast and NOD32. And finally are now using NOD32. It just satisfies what I need on my system.

In 2011 it's been just Prevx and Vipre Premium.
I think I might purchase Vipre before the trial ends.
They have a promo wherein purchasers get a free 3-pc copy of of TuneUp Utilities...

    Just one MSE.

I like it but I would use avast! My second choice would be MSE.
