Thanks for the heads up, Dragon1952.

I updated to 3.1.1 about a week or ten days ago.
I have gone back to using ZenMate on a much more regular basis, maybe 90% of the time, or more, so it must have improved speed-wise.
How about you? Are your mem idle numbers improved?

My numbers look the same but it seems to be the same or faster than before. They put a Chrome Icon in the system tray now so if i click on Exit it seems to turn off the extension so the memory goes down 600MB but when i launch Chrome the extension is back on again.

Still only one. Lol, I'm really a true monogamist. IIRC I've never used more than one extension since I'm with Chrome. :D

I introduce you: The Phantom of the Eternally Dark Abyss ~ Lord GrafZeppelin. I'm so evil that even the hell spat me back out of it. :argh:

    ZenMate 3.2 released.
I am still trying to find a changelog or any info on what's new in the update from 3.1.1.
I emailed their support and will post back when I receive a reply.
Anyone else know, please post. :thumb:

    Uninstalled Ghostery.
If it isn't enabled, better to remove it.
Easy enough to put back if and when.

Are these two redundant, aren't they?

Sure, if they use the same sources. Which they don't, nor do they conflict.

I have 5 extensions installed, but only 1 of them enabled. These were all installed alongside software I've installed. It is extremely rare for me to install extensions myself as rather than using extensions to add features which are missing, I only use browsers which have pretty much every feature I need included as standard.

My current browser is Sleipnir, but it does use Chrome's Blink engine (and therefore also Chrome's extensions) by deafult. I would never use Chrome itself on any of my computers due to a lack of features.

I dropped TrafficLight now that Chrome is automatically blocking malware files... I'm thinking BitDefender's QuickScan component might be conflicting with Chrome. Just a hunch. Chrome hasn't been quite right (for me) since upgrading to v32. I'm hoping for a new release soon.

Right now just WOT, AdBlock and Click&Clean.
ZenMate is still installed but when it is slowing me down (tonight it was only giving me 10% of the download speed I'm used to), I just toggle it off.

I also noticed that Google Wallet was running as an extension.
I never installed it, and it wasn't showing under extensions in Chrome, but CCleaner showed it to me. I have to unsynch my account in order to get rid of it, I do believe.

I was about to try out ZenMate the other day, but found out that it would only work if I have an account. Is this correct or do you know of any workaround to avoid registration?

An email address and password isn't much of a registration.

    Currently have 2:
    1. HTTP Switchboard
    2. Adblock Plus

    Thinking about adding:
    1. HTTPS Everywhere
