How manage client to update at mirror?

Hi guys,

I have problem about client policy to update at mirror.
Now, if you want your clients to update at mirror (x.x.x.x) than you will set http://x.x.x.x:2221 at ESET client. Everyone can update at mirror if they set a update parameter.

Now, I want make limit their to update.
They not only set a update parameter but they must at same network too (not only can "ping").

example:

network id: 10.10.10.0/24
mirror : 10.10.10.2/24
host a : 10.10.10.3/24 --> http://10.10.10.2:2221
host b : 10.10.11.3/24 --> http://10.10.10.2:2221

just host "a" can update at mirror.
Anyone help me, how configures the ERAS?

Hope I understood what you're trying to accomplish.

Try using authentication on ERAS for mirror updates (see page 76 of product manual - 8.3.1 Operation of the Mirror server).

Then, you can separate clients in groups (see page 50 - Group Manager) based on your preferences (host a, b, etc.)

Now, using Policy Manager, create a policy with correct update parameters, that will only be applied to group a (you can create a rule for that and it will be done automatically).
