how is outpost firewall

    like zone alarm there is a option to start zone alarm manually . is there is any option in outpost free firewall also ?

    Yes.... Options > General > under startup uncheck 'Normal' ... then check Disable. :)

    opps ... in a hurry this morning. Only just now saw 'FREE' ..... hope it works for you.

    You can disable OP free (right click icon, shutdown). But on install it will always run at boot-time to protect. The disable OP function can be password protected (although that's not fail safe in OP1).
    You can restart it manually after manual shutdown.
