It isn't fully supported anymore. I suggest not using it.

The Comodo sandbox is good but Sandboxie is more tested. The Comodo sandbox is also not updated as regularly. I would use Sandboxie. Especially the paid version of Sandboxie is very nice.

If you want full virtualization, try something else like Deep Freeze. FOr sandboxing definitely Sandboxie paid and harden each box as ad18 suggested

I'm interested in the validity of that statement too;given that the sandbox is an integral component of CIS,which is in active development.o_O

I can't be sure about the quality of the sandbox itself, but Sandboxie is much more convenient to use. It's also more customizable while Comodo's sandbox is much... simpler. IIRC Comodo's sandbox also doesn't work with MSI.

Of course the sandbox is still supported. Its one of the main components of CIS and is still being improved.

Ok my fault I swore Comodo Sandbox wasn't supported anymore. Guess it is still. My mistake.

Perhaps you were recalling Comodo Time Machine, which hasn't been developed for some time.

I have used Comodo's Sandbox for online banking and I do find it more cumbersome to use but I find that resetting the Sandbox is faster than Erasing Sandboxie's default inner file for sandboxies default sandbox.

With comodo Sandbox what's downloading files like. Sandboxie is reasonably simple once learned. Is comodo download of files seamless or does the user have to extract it from the sandbox or do something extra to get access to the downloaded file?
