How does NOD-32 compares with AVG

Hello there,
I was using Norton Antivirus for years until recently.
Subscription expired and I really do not like the new versions they have and how much they changed and how cumbersome and all-encompassing they became, so I am looking to change to something else. It seems like the choices are AVG, Kaspersky and of course NOD-32. Karspersky does not work with Zone Alarm firewall (which I really like), so it is between AVG and NOD-32.

I don't want to start a war, upset someone, or be disrespectful to this group, but I would like some honest opinion on how do you think NOD-32 compares with AVG antivirus ONLY (not the whole suite, as I intend to use Zone Alarm firewall).

Any compelling reasons (beyond "this is what we use, so it is the best") why one would choose NOD-32 over AVG?

My suggestion would be to try the AVs you might be interested in purchasing.
They all have free trial periods. Otherwise, A vs. B comparisons of different AVs is against the TOS of this forum.

We don't allow A vs. B in this forum. Try AVG and Nod32 for a month and make your own decision.
