How do they get away with it?

    I too hold OE data in this way for a number of users, along with My Documents, IE history, IE favourites etc etc. I could never go back to storing it all on the system partition and it is all easily moved via registry changes.

    FWIW, yeah, I know, exactly what you are paying for it. :D

    I found the easy way to backup my OE files, I leave them on the ISP's server since I found out they provide 2GB of storage.

    I never store anything in My Documents etc so it is just a scratch area.

    My Favorites is copied onto another machine for use and inherent backup but it now has so much obsolete stuff in it, it could be a blessing if it were lost.

    My Address Book is also copied onto another machine for use and inherent backup.
