Hello, I currently have Prevx free version 3.0.5.220 installed. In its automatic scans it keeps id'ing as threats what I suspect to be false positives:

    c:\program files\autorun eater - old mcdonald.exe - medium risk malware
    Autorun Eater.lnk (3 instances)
    image2pdf.exe in c:\program files\pdfarea\image to pdf converter free\
image to pdf converter free.lnk (3 instances)

How can I be sure these are ok, and how do I stop prevx from including them as threats in a scan? Also, is this the best free version of the program to have currently, or is there another preferred version?

You can right click on the files and select Report as a False Positive which will allow them locally, but please send a scan log to us by clicking Tools - Save Scan Results and email it to report@prevxresearch.com so that we can fix them for all users.

    Thank you!

So you don't get a notification about anything right clicked?

We do but there are a lot of people (in the thousands every day) that incorrectly right click submit actual malware and I suspect these will be very low volume so it is not always easy to determine what should/should not be detected.
