While doing a search in my registry, I came across four entries that I can't delete. I even tried deleting them while running is safe mode and that didn't work. Two are NOD32 entries and two are Panda. Is there any way I can delete these entries or should I just leave them and forget about them? I'm running XP Home SP2.

I recently trialled both Panda and Nod 32 and have used Panda Activescan and don't see the entries you describe. I removed several entries for each with RegSeeker and can only assume this removed the entries that you see. It is free, very easy to use and does make backups. But be careful if you do use it and check entries before deleting to make sure they are correct. I was amazed by how much stuff it found but many have similar names.

Hi mistycat. I used RegSeeker, RegCleaner and EasyCleaner before posting here. RegSeeker did find some Panda stuff. But after running all three of those programs, those four entries are still there.

As I don't see these entries, I assumed RegSeeker removed them. I also run Tune Up Utilities and jv16 Powertools {1.3} and have used Norton Utilities in the past. TUU has a 30 day trial, I believe, and jv16 1.3 is available free at 321Download.com. Other than this, sorry, I don't know.

Actually, I was thinking that jv16 may help you. I remember removing a Panda entry from "Installed Software" and there is also a Registry Cleaner and a Registry Finder in Tools. The Registry Cleaner can be configured to show only safe to remove entries {green} by not selecting "Show ignored items" in its dropdown box. Good luck

I tried the trial version of Tune Up Utilities. Nice program, but those entries are still there. I think I'll just forget about them. They don't seem to be doing any harm. Thanks for the help.
