How do I cure this?

    Don't know why all of a sudden I get this when I down load something.
    Xp Home how can I cure it.please?

    Look's like a FF configuration, along these lines - /GUIMODE=2 /PATH="%1 Be patient Frank, an FF user'll come along.

    hi, i think you need to open the firefox addons manager and go to the anti-virus section in the download statusbar preferences and tell it something about your virus scanner.

    you can maybe disable the virus scanning bit in download statusbar until you get the setup correct if you really need to download something, your AV will still do a scan if you ever run whatever you have downloaded.

    i'm just guessing the above because i've never used download statusbar, so it might not be the problem! i saw the AV tab in this picture :D -

    Thanks GF & Iceni Thought it was in there but couldn't find it .But your info made me search more carefully.:thumb:
