I heard from one of my friends that .exe files can contain trojans . How can I make sure that an .exe file I download from the Internet doesn't contain a trojan? Currently I have one anti virus software running (Kaspersky) and I think it can be used to scan .exe files for trojans, but according to my gut feelings, that might not be enough. Kaspersky might not be able to detect some trojans from within .exe files, so is there a more full proof way of detecting and eliminating any trojans from .exe files? I don't want to run an .exe file that contains a trojan which can infect my computer.
