    Hi

how can i monitor program activity?
    for example files opened,writed,modified..

i know only process monitor but it's redundant , i mean it catpure all the files opened by the program many times
for example if the program opens the file x , in process monitor there is a long list of file x
    maybe it's windows architecture

is there an alternative to process monitor?
and to capture only a program , in the filter should i have only the program included?

in short could you tell me how do you track a program activity?

    thanks

Look at SystemExplorer with feature "History"

Why not just apply an include filter for the process you want to monitor when using Process Monitor?

Why don't you create a filter for "Operation" and use "CreateFile" or "WriteFile" (for file opening and writing)? ProcessMonitor is extremely configurable when it comes to filtering.
