I have Stardock Central and that service is pretty much useless. The only way to get rid of it is to DELETE it (safe to do).

First, terminate the "sdmcp.exe" through Windows Task Manager

    Then, open EXPLORER:

Click on your drive > program files > common files > stardock

Highlight the file and Shift + Delete.

    You're all set.

It loads as part of Object Dock and Stardock Central. More info here:

dmcp.exe is the Stardock Master Control Program. It installs with a suite of productivity enhancements that make up the Stardock Object Desktop. More information can be found at http://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/. A file called mcpserver.exe may also be running on your system.
