When I open the log file on Personal firewall log
    my ESS will down eventually.
I think there is too many stuff in this log.
I try the log maintenance. But It can't help

    Are there any alternative methods?

Hi, did you try click right button and choose Delete all? Log database files are located in
    Code:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\ESET\ESET Smart Security\Logs
, but you cannot delete these files when ESS is running. I don't recommend remove them.

You can manage auto-delete of log records by changing the retention parameter under Setup. The default is 90 days. I assume this is for all logs, not just firewall entries.

    THanks, the problem was fixed.
I found that the log file had already about 1.5 gb size, so horrible.
I del it, and now it is OK!

Actually I try to set it to 2 days. But It doesnt work!
