Hotspot Shield afurladvisor Addon

    Hotspot Shield installed an add-on called "afurladvisor." What is this, and does the software need it to run?

    add-on for FireFox? see if you can diable/unistall it from the browser and how hotpsot shield works then with FF

    anchorfree seems tight lipped on it. would not be surprising if it is related to their ad banner display

    I disabled the add-on, and the banner still remained.
