Hotmail Outlook Connector not working

    I have Live mail setup in Outlook 2010 using hotmail connector plugin. When protocol filtering is activated, I cannot connect to Live mail via Outlook 2010

    I am also running the hotmail connector with Outlook 2010 and cannot duplicate this issue.

    i am too running outlook 2010 with the hotmail connector without any issues

    I have to take it back. I am now having this issue as well.

    Update:
    Excluding Outlook.exe from Protocol Filtering seems to resolve this issue. How much protection is lost by doing so? I assume that if an infected attachment comes through the file system scanner will get it, correct?
