    Hi
    Got my security software sorted went for comodo firewall and aol active virus shield and BOClean but which comes out top in tests for freeware Host-based Intrusion Prevention Software (HIPS) im trying system saftey monitor at the moment just intrested in everyones opinions

    Hello,

    Best = suited for you needs / understanding.

    I'm not very fond of HIPS - as they are paradoxal. Those who need them can't use them - and those who can - do not need them. That said, the friendliest and most ... whole HIPS I have tested were:

    Online Armor
    DefenseWall (as a sort of sandbox/HIPS)
