Ah, thanks for the info. I have a licence for 3pc's and normally use another one, which is running latest version and updates normally. This notebook is used by the family and I thought it was updated also, because of the notice "no updates available". I did not compare the actual version on the website with the installed version, which was my fault
So probably it did never update automatically as I installed it in 2015. Anyway after I manually updated to the latest version, there is no problem with Firefox.

    So problem solved :thumb:

As I mentioned, perhaps HMP.A 3.0.42.190 was some build for which Erik and Mark didn't activate the autoupdater, at some moment, and forgot to activate it later. Or something else was wrong.
I think it may be wise if Erik or Mark could have a look at what could have been the cause of the fact that HMP.A wasn't autoupdated on that notebook.

    Ah, that's great!

    N.B.
I think it'll be wise to keep an eye on that specific notebook, for a while, to see if it updates correctly with the next HMP.A autoupdate.

With Build 564 the Keystroke encryption can be seen :thumb:

Alert build 564b-- very nice. Feels very stable right now. Did someone also notice the icons on the "exploit mitigations," etc blocks got larger and in a different style? How come?

?! Nothing in that area in the code was touched.
Can you post a screenshot of the icons?

I compared them with screenshots from previous builds, and the icons/blocks have the same size and style.

Now icon change, same as it ever was.

mood: Can I ask how many builds back from this one you could compare? I remember the bulls-eye icon for Scan computer in particular was smaller. Wow, maybe I got stuck in the past for some reason, but they really seemed different at first.

    3.5.0 Build 537 - June 2016.
    I couldn't see any difference.

Got a windows BSOD bug check crash dump when safely remove hardware... ejecting a USB flash drive on a win 10 64 bit. I am pretty sure hmpnet.sys or hmpalert.sys was shown as the cause. It was a new customer dell laptop and they were standing right there or I would have the details for you. build 562

also this same error has happened on my personal computer three times already. every time it is when I clicked safely remove hardware... ejecting a USB flash drive on a win 10 64 bit. it happens random though, not every time.

Installed. Rebooted. Now the colored window border and the text about mitigations being active is gone. Rebooted several more times. Nothing. The colored windows are enabled.
Uninstalled and rebooted. Reinstalled. Voila! There they are. problem solved.

We have been in contact with Symantec and we both have been testing compatibility.

Symantec confirms that Alert and Norton are compatible.

Symantec will lift their suggestion to uninstall Alert at their support dialog coming Tuesday.

Thank you Wilders members and @Krusty13 in particular :thumb:

    @TheBear

I found I was able to add Thunderbird (portable) by :

    1. having ThunderBird running
    2. opening HMPA main window and clicking on the Blue Tile in HMPA (Exploit Mitigation)
    3. selecting "Running Applications" at the bottom
    4. from there, then selecting Thunderbird from the resulting pop-up window...
    5. then opting for the Office Template when given the choice

It may ask you to restart Thunderbird.

    @erikloman
Thanks, I'll install it later today.
    Question:
Is build 564 beta, or a release candidate?
That information wasn't in the header, this time.

    According to the tray-icon it's a beta:

    Thanks very much, deugniet.
As I mentioned, I'll install it later today, so I didn't see the tray icon and the main screen, yet.
Anyhow, clear build 564 is beta.
    Thanks once more.
