    @DreamsandVisions You might try downloading the latest BETA V 3.5.1 b550, and see if that works. Here is the link http://test.hitmanpro.com/hmpalert3b551.exe

    Edit: Taken care of, thanks! :)

    Hi all, I have pm'd the Loman bros, emailed support, & pm'd another surfright person on another forum. It an August weekend & Europe is apparently on holiday, as I've not heard from anyone. And I cannot activate my products.
    Would anyone with an answer to my problem please pm me? I am a paid, long time user of HMPA & HMP. I have had continuous, intermittent activation issues. Thanks!

    Yes, sorry for the abbreviation ;) Worked for me, thanks a lot :) P.S. The kitten is cute ;)

    Link is broken (did they remove b551?) :( I picked the one by @Hiltihome, probably the latest beta, did not find another on quick Google search.
    I tried it out, once Keystroke encryption is turned on, the issue is here again. Once turned off, I can write as I'm doing it right now. No need for a restart to see the effects take place.

    Thank you guys for your input :)

    Not sure if this is a known error:

    The HitmanPro.Alert Support Driver service failed to start due to the following error:
    Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.

    and

    The HitmanPro.Alert service service depends on the HitmanPro.Alert Support Driver service which failed to start because of the following error:

    @CaptainLeonidasHMPA :
    Disable secure-boot in BIOS/UEFI settings and try again.
    Or wait for a new build of HMP.A with Microsoft-signed driver.

    Hi

    I have problems in your program

    1- Exploit Mitigations >>> Firefox >>> flash >>>
    If you run a video becomes slow and also stops less than a second and then continue

    2- Network Lockdown >>>> google chrome >>>> When browsing and run movies = blue screen
    http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/google_chrome_portable

    3- BadUSB Protection >>>> eset ss >>> When you enter any flash memory = blue screen
    Incompatible sometimes "rare" %10

    Firefox = the last one

    chrome = the last one

    eset ss = 10.0.171.0

    windows = 8.1 64bit

    HitmanPro.Alert 3 = 3.5.0 , b 546

    This program is excellent
    But I hope the reform this errors

    This has probably been mentioned already but why can't we enable Keystroke Encryption in Edge now?

    For now it does seem the secure boot is making Windows Pro 10 AU unwilling to install HMP.Alert properly.
    Tried the HMP.Alert 3.5.1.550 Beta on a MacBookPro which does not support Secure boot and it installed without any pop-ups.

    Guess Surfright/Sofos needs to update the signature of the service/driver. Also means my Surface Pro 4 also running Windows Pro AU is not compatible with HMP.Alert for now.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Note: also seems when you upgrade from Windows 1511 to Windows 1607 and if you already had HMP.Alert installed it will remain workable.

    @CaptainLeonidasHMPA

    When you read a couple of pages back there is a whole discussion about this specific problem, the devs are aware of it.

    For no apparent reason the application icons in the advanced UI are missing today. I'm getting flyouts at application start, window borders & keystroke encryption indicator, and I confirmed that HMPAlert.dll is being injected into the processes, so protection appears to be active. It was working fine yesterday :confused: I tried rebooting but that made no difference.

    I am having problems with HMP.A. Everytime I try to create a bootimage on USB drives for Backup software such as Macrium Reflect V6, Terabyte Unlimited Image for Windows PE, etc, HMP.A blocks the creation of the Boot USB.
    I am totally frustrated and am contemplating removing this buggy piece of software.
    This is because I cannot waste my time uninstalling this **** piece of software and reinstalling it later.
    In any case, HMP.A will complain that it is activated on too many computers and so my key will get deactivated.
    This is adding insult to injury.

    Have you tried temporarily disabling CryptoGuard?

    Why can't you re-install?

    I know, I needed to reinstall HMP-A following a Windows reset due to corruption from another third party software. There's just no other way to do it right now. I'd rather have SecureBoot temporarily disabled and have a few "unauthorized" security apps than the other way around. Besides, you can't run the HitmanPro scanner either, it behaves bizarrely. I for one will be so glad when this mess is done with, should be another week or so, maybe. I haven't tried re-enabling SecureBoot once the software is installed, it just doesn't seem worth the little hassle.

    The scuttlebut from ericloman on this is: It's not whether or not HMPA was installed prior to WIN 1067. It is: 1.) If you UPGRADED from WIN 10 to WIN 1067 you should be ok installing HMPA even if secure boot is enabled; BUT 2.) If you INSTALLED WIN 1067 HMPA will not install if secure boot is enabled.

    This is likely caused by a new feature called WipeGuard (the setting is under CryptoGuard/Master Boot Record), which is designed to protect the Master Boot Record. Disabling it temporarily when you want to create a boot image, etc, should solve it. Let us know how it goes.
