Just wanted to let you know that we are keeping a close eye on this thread and that we are aware that Keystroke Encryption is lost under some conditions. We appreciate the detailed information that you are providing, which helps us to reproduce and solve the problem. We hope to have it solved in the coming week.

Thanks very much, Mark, much appreciated.
May I assume that the same applies to the other issues that were reported in this thread?
Some reported issues were never commented on by you or Erik, other issues got a reply but after that nothing seemed to happen. I assume you and Erik (and perhaps other SurfRight colleagues) monitor this thread and keep a precise listing of all reported issues, and are working on fixes for the reported issues, but the sometimes rather limited response can be a bit worrying, as perhaps you can imagine.

General question about Keystroke encryption problems reported on this thread.

When forum members say "NO encryption" does this mean:

    1. NO orange encryption flyout but encryption actually done (to be validated with the hmpalert testool)
    or
    2. NO orange encryption flyout and NO encryption done (to be validated with the hmpalert testool)
    or
    3. YES orange encryption flyout but NO encryption done (to be validated with the hmpalert testool).

I do not know if option 3. is possible!
But I have experienced both option 1. and 2. in the recent past.

    Starting with hmpa build-187 I only experience option 1. with IE11(32) from C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

I am running v3.0.41 Build 187...I assume this is the current release version. I have no observable problem with keystroke encryption. I use Opera 12.15.

Numero due (number 2) with IE11: NO orange encryption flyout and NO encryption done. No problems with Firefox 38.0.1 (W7 64 bits/build 187).

Got it. If you did not reboot yet, can you also send me a dump of hmpalert.exe running as SYSTEM?

    A totally boring report: ;)

Using HMP.A 3 build 187 on Vista Home Premium x64, Norton 360 version 21.7.0.11, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 37.0.2, and there are no problems to speak of. Orange-bordered keystroke encryption shows up fine.

KeyScrambler + Alert = No encryption done by Alert as we do not allow double encryption of keys. We are working on an indicator in the User Interface to show this to the end user. In other words: it is correct that Alert does not show encryption if KeyScrambler is also installed.

    Hi Erik

I am still seeing the encryption stuff randomly. Right now I don't see it, last night I did. I couldn't tell you the difference. Let me know if you want me to test something.

Probably better post in the HitmanPro thread, instead of the HitmanPro.Alert thread.

If I have KeyScrambler installed should I disable HMPA keystroke encryption to avoid any sort of conflict?

I'll let Erik answer your question, but I'd like to ask why you prefer to use KeyScrambler instead of the HMPA keystroke encryption? I'm not implying one is "better" than the other as I don't know, but just wondering how you're thinking about it.
