Bogus alerts still occurring with HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 214 on Win8 32-bit. Setting scan to compatible disk access is the only way to avoid alerts from valid files located in the other partition. (F:1\). HMP is having this problem only with this particular partition (D0-P1) when run from Win8 (D1-P3). Also, if HMP is not closed after scanning is finished, you cannot start Disk Manager until HMP is closed.

I have a hang problem with HMP at the 99% mark, before it gets into the remnant part of scanning, of about 100 seconds. Running XP.

I certainly, am. The first time when I clicked on the HMP desktop icon, I got a BSOD. Rebooted, and this time HMP updated, and scanned.

Does it eventually continue? How long did you let it run?

Possible problem HitmanPro 3.7.9 - Build 214 and Sandboxie.

During a scan I can't open a sandboxed Firefox. I get this Sandboxie-error: SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (1).

After the scan has finished the sandboxed Firefox opens. With older versions of HitmanPro no problem.

    W7 64 bits, HitmanPro 3.7.9 - Build 214 and Sandboxie beta 4.09.

This seems to be an issue when both Alert and HitmanPro are on the system. Uninstalling either of them solves the problem. We are currently investigating the root cause which seems to related to recent HitmanPro build.

UPDATE: I found the culprit and released build 216.

    HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 216

We fixed an issue that occurred on computers with Alert installed. Processes started with a significant delay while HitmanPro window was open.

    Changelog
    • FIXED: Applications started with a delay while HitmanPro was running and Alert was installed.
    • FIXED: Automatic update was not working on small number of systems.
    Download
    http://get.hitmanpro.com

All users are currently updated to build 216 automatically.

Please let me know how this version runs on your computer :thumb:
