hijcack this log

alright, my adaware quit working, i start it, it initalizes data... and freezes..... sometimes it will get to scanning, tell me what i have wrong, and then when i click remove it freezes there. other than that my enternet explorer keeps freezing and since im using win xp, it says its caused an error and send an error report so i downloaded hijack this and ran it and i see some things that need to be removed, but before i remove thoes, i want complete verification on what all i should delete thanx

Hi Heath,

First, I would strongly recommend that you uninstall "Messenger Plus" via Start >> Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs. This program is known to bundle spyware with its installation. More info here.

If you decided to uninstall Messenger Plus, then check the following entries also:

Download CWShredder and run. Be sure ALL other windows are closed use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

If you removed Messenger Plus, also delete the following:
C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 2 <-- entire folder

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

okay even after deleting all that stuff, restarting in safe mode and deleting that, i went to windows update and when i opened my explorer, the search thing is still there, no i didnt remove msg plus, because if all the spyware is removed its a really helpful program, for me anyway, and when i got to windows update, it told me there are 2 critical updates, i started them, and halfway in it, it told me ie has encountered a problem and needs to close so obviously we didnt fix the problem, and the 3 things that you dont know, the nitto glitch was supposed to help me get money on this game, but it turned out i got my account hacked and all my money taken away (but i guess thats what i get for trying to cheat) and the other things i have no clue whatsoever what they are but heres the log

hahah i just noticed i spelled it wrong "hijcack" lol anyway, i deleted the nittoglitch thing out, but still when i restart my computer and open the processes window in windows xp pro. i see that its running, i know its a keylogger, and its really annoying, cuz he probably knows all my passwords now and it sucks lol but, is there any way to get rid of it?

Let's try this from safe mode. Reboot into safe mode.

There also may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Do a CTRL>ALT>DELETE to bring up Task Manager. Click Processes. Be sure "Show processes for all users" is checked. Look thru the list to see if "burn vga view.exe" is there. If it is, click on it and then click end process, then OK. Close Task Manager.

Run HJT and Scan. Check the following in HJT:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [OnlineChic] C:\PROGRA~1\MFCDCH~1\burn vga view.exe

Be sure ALL other windows are closed except HJT.
Then click Fix. Close HJT.

Now find
C:\PROGRA~1\MFCDCH~1
and delete the entire folder.

Reboot and post a new HJT log.

coulda guessed it, i did all that, looked in hjt nothing about it, but still in processes window, there is the "glitch" so yeah, thanks for all your help and all, but im just going to restore my computer to a previous date
