HijackThis ~ uninstall after use ????

    hi ,
    i read in a forum today that u should uninstall Hijackthis after each time u use it as when u use it second time u could get re infected .... this sounds like a load of rubbish to me.... anyone got any ideas plz ??

    lol.... i think the uninstall hijackthis advice is as true as wilders have not yet registered 7000+ members :D atleast... i think that... hijackthis doesnot need to be uninstalled but should be checked for updates... the latest being now released

    Hi Cops,

    subratam is right. It is important to always use the latest version of HijackThis. Also make sure to get a version of one of the official mirrors.
    The person that used it twice and got reinfected must have used the backup function. :rolleyes:
