Hijacked Explorer

    I am having trouble with my Explorer it has also been hijacked, plesase someone let me know what to erase

    Also HijackThis needs to be in it's own folder to produce backups. It will not be possible where it is located now in a temp folder.

    "HijackThis! needs to be in its own folder", sez he. Mine isn't, it's in "C:\My Documents\Downloads" with a bunch of other stuff, and it seems to work just fine.

    Not to be critical, but I seem to be getting away with it, 'cuz I've posted logs several times to this forum. ;)

    I believe that the main issue is not to have HJT running in a temp folder as then the backups of fixed items can disappear rather easily.....

    I would like to add also that after fixing the above items to reboot into safe mode and delete the following:
    C:\Program Files\Save\Save.exe

    And you need to go to the Windows Update Site http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp and patch your windows with SP1 and all other critical updates...
