Let me start out by saying thanks to whomever can help me!

My computer had been running along smoothly and then one evening it slowed down to a crawl and hasn't been the same since. I also can't received emails in Outlook. I have my Yahoo account configured to import all emails from my Outlook. When I check my Outlook through Yahoo, I receive the email. When I try to receive emails through Outlook, I am told there are no new messages. We can't do much because it takes so much time....So, that's about all I can think of to report here as far as problems. Who knows, though. There could be more I just haven't come across.

I ran Ad-ware and followed the instructions posted in this forum to a T.

    Here is my HijackThis log:

The toolbar that shows as no file was AdRoar
The AST line is a TROJANDOWNLOADER.WIN32.VB.AH VIRUS

Run HijackThis again, push Scan and place a check mark next to the following items using your mouse.
Next, close all browser Windows, and push the 'Fix checked' button in HijackThis

I thank you so much for your response.

I will follow these steps this evening after work and will respond back to let you know how it worked.

I am so ignorant when it come to this stuff, so I really appreciate your time, IMM.

Well, I got as far as the SAFE mode steps. I couldn't find any of the files I was told to delete. And, as I stated above, my keyboard wouldn't work.

    I fell like an idiot.

I will post a new log later.

Also, when trying to delete the temp folder, there is one file in there that I can't delete. I keep getting the message that it is in use. Because I don't even know what it is, I wouldn't even know where to begin. It;s temp00000000.

Oh dear -- do you have a usb keyboard which you need to turn on support for in the bios ?

Post a fresh log anyway and we'll see what you got
------ edit -- you were posting as I typed

It's looking better - one thing - you shouldn't really run 2 AV's in real time mode (if that is what is going on?)
It's ok to have 2 - but only one of them should be set to scan on file access - it can really affect the machine's performance (and even reduce the effectiveness of the detections)

I was able to use my keyboard while in safe mode the other day. I have to type in a password and all was well when I did it then.

Today was the first day that I couldn't use the kepboard. ?
