I am getting the "Error loading C:\Windows\System32\bridge.dll" error when i start up my computer. I ran ad-aware (which I have been doing for quite a while now). I also am getting a barrage of pop-ups which I never used to get before. Here is my log:

In Hijack This, check all of the following items, then close all browser windows, and press "Fix Checked":

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0000607D-D204-42C7-8E46-216055BF9918} - C:\WINDOWS\mxTarget.dll

    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll",Load
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [pviaekbfsxdbr] C:\WINDOWS\System32\mmesxxt.exe

Now restart your computer, and delete the C:\WINDOWS\System32\mmesxxt.exe file.

NOTE: To avoid the risk of it not being found due to it having the 'Hidden' attribute, first make sure that in Folder Options > View hidden and operating system files are set to show.

When done, post a fresh log.

Please let me know if I overlooked something when looking for the C:\WINDOWS\System32\mmesxxt.exe file. I did everything you suggested.

I greatly appreciate your help with this matter.

    Regards

It should be there, as it was listed among your Running Services; did you go to Folder Options, and made sure Hidden files were showing?

If so you should be able to do a Find Files ( Winkey + F, or Start > Run > Find/Search > For Files and Folders) and get hold of it that way.

On a positive note, your log is now clean.
