Anybody else seeing this behavior? We use High-Rely external hard drives, either USB or SATA attached, for backup tagets on many of our customers' servers. These are hot-swappable drives and a High-Rely service (HRDM2.exe) manages the drive lettering and share control of the drives.

We thought we had a faulty drive container and did everything HR had us try and decided to try uninstalling NOD. That immediately resolved the issue. We've seen since the same cause-and-effect and other sites and are convinced that it is NOD that is causing the swapped drives not to appear until the server is rebooted.

We are excluding the external drives from scanning and there are no alerts in the NOD logs about the application. I have not tried excluding the service from scanning.

Aside from trying the obvious (excluding the service from scanning) what do you think?
