    Hi Guys,

I am using FDISR to secure my company's laptops (WinXPSP2) so that every time the user reboots it cleans itself.

    1. I anchor the "C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>" so that his/her documents does not get deleted upon reboot. I also anchored the Antivirus directory so pattern updates can go through.

    2. I've hidden the system icon, and moved the FDISR program folder in start menu from All Users to the Administrator's Start Menu > Programs Folder. So users cant start FDISR from their logons.

They just know that if they want to keep anything, keep it in My Docs.

    Questions:
    1. Can the preboot screen be hidden?
    2. Can I password protect FDISR so no one can start it without entering a password?

    Thanks.

ps. For those of you who have done this at your company, is there a better solution out there?
