    i know its protecting the comp,but does it scan comp,at all.does check comp out first,

    Hi twillynit, ProcessGuardis not a scanner and it is best that your machine is as clean as possible before intalling.
    Once installed ProcessGuard has a learning mode which allows you to run your trusted programs and creates the rules necessary for then to run properly, so if malware were to start during this process then there is a chance that your PC could be compromised as the malware executables would be added to both the Security list and protection list.

    So my advice is to ensure that you have the latest MS patches, update your AV /AT and Anti-Spyware programs and do full scans before installing PG.

    Installing PG on a newly installed OS is the best possible scenario.

    Once installed and out of learning mode you will have added one of the most effective levels of protection available, without a doubt it is worth the time and effort involved.
