The sound on my computer has been distorted and scratchy for months now. There seems to be some file types that are associated with more than one device (itunes, real audio, quicktime, etc.) Here's my log:

    Hi turkey,

I'm not seeing anything in your log that would cause your sound to be scratchy? It may be a software conflict, or sound drivers, but that is out of my area, so I'm not much help to you there.

You may want to start a new thread and ask over in our Software & Services forum (Although please do not post a hijackthis log there.).

I am curious about this file though. Do you know what it is for?
You can navigate to the file and right-click on it --> choose Properties --> and look under the tabs to see what program/manufacturer it belongs to.
