    A couple months ago I accidentally downloaded or installed a toolbar and I thought I had gotten rid of it, but I think there are still some files on my computer that I can't find or don't know enough about to get rid of. One of those files is bridge.dll, because everytime I restart my computer, I get an error message saying that bridge.dll cannot load, but I don't know how to get rid of it. I also found out this morning that I had been infected with SecThought.E which has since been removed, but I'd like to make sure.
    Could you please help me figure out what I can safely remove and what I should keep? I would appreciate it!

    (I use Ad-Aware and AVG 6)

    You posted in that forum, but i did not see it in your HJT file so guessed you don't use it, as you just confirmed.
    Waiting for experts to look into your file!

    Hi scoopgirl411,

    Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://contexualsearch.com/searchbar.html
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://contexualsearch.com/searchbar.html
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {42509BE2-5E2D-3464-0BE2-BBC1EBEDD9F0} - C:\PROGRA~1\SECTAT~1\1 cash.dll (file missing)
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {71ED4FBA-4024-4bbe-91DC-9704C93F453E} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iso soft] C:\PROGRA~1\FIVEPE~1\Gpllist.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoUpdater] C:\PROGRA~1\AUTOUP~1\AUTOUP~1.EXE
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load

    Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\PROGRAM FILES\AUTOUPDATER <= entire folder

    That should do it.

    Regards,

    Pieter
