    Hi!

I have written rules for some of my applications filtering (port and IPs to allow for TCP and UDP), and had saved my rules. However, when I went to restore my C: drive from a backup image and restored my rules latest rules from a copy I made before doing the restore, I found that all of the application rules I had done were gone. Where does Look-n-Stop save the applications filtering rules that rules?

    Thanks,

    Hillsboro

    Hi Hillsboro :)

For the program's filter it's there:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Soft4Ever\looknstop\Applis

When you're used the ExtraSave option (option tab) this information is also kept in a .reg file there: C:\Program Files\Soft4Ever\looknstop\lns.reg

For the internet filter it's there:
    C:\Program Files\Soft4Ever\looknstop\"name of rules set".rls
    and
    C:\Program Files\Soft4Ever\looknstop\"name of rules set".bak

    Hope this help.
    :)
