    Hi,

I'm trying to restore a validates image of a 160 GB SATA hard drive to a newly created RAID 0 configured with 2 identical seagate 160 GB SATA drives on a Via Card (6421).

I booted using the BRM disk I created and Acronis correctly recognized my RAID volume as one disk. However, When I retored my image, it restored the image to only one of the drives. When I boot to the old 160 GB drive, Disk Manager in XP Pro shows the second drive as being unallocated. (The drivers for the RAID are already installed on the image.)

    What am I doing wrongo_O?

Thanks. in advance for your assistance!

    Hello jpmull,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please try to prepare your Windows for transferring using Microsoft System Preparation Tool (sysprep) as it is described in this FAQ article before the image creation.

If this does not help then please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post and submit a request for technical support. Attach the collected report file and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
