Hi everyone, Can anybody please please help me. My E mail has become an Agent for sending thousands of Very very X rated e mails to other people. My comp was running very slow and I have now found that the Avast is scanning thousands of erotic e mails from various places and sending them from my computer. I have tried uninstalling Avast and re installing it but I am still sending lots and lots. Any ideas on how I can stop this please? Thank you

Download SuperAntiSpyware and Spybot Search and Destroy. I take it your using Outlook. If I were you I would also switch to web based email. I use my AT&T email account through Yahoo and I get no spam and no junk.

Sorry to hear of all your problems, Doubleyoujay!

Get ready to roll up your sleeves, the only thing that helped me
some years back was to wipe the HD, install the OS and sytematically
install one prog at a time-
ALSO changing isp's and my email-

You can't really expect an anti-virus to get rid of what's causing your problem.
Give more info about your puter and OS for starters..

You will get good help here, just be patient! ;)

Let's have a look at the extent of how bad the computer is infected before recommending a full reinstall.
