    Thanks for letting us know, Calamity Jane is dealing with it, so the user is in good hands. :) Unfortunately the user is using a free version of PG and was probably infected before it was installed.

    I will keep my eye on the thread though. :)

    I should have re-read the thread. I remembered that he had written

    "I guess I didn't explain myself well. I can't even get to the point where I can stop Process Guard. If I could somehow turn off process guard, matbe I could run Public anti-virus."

    As the problem with Process Guard has been solved, it is just a normal clean up.

    I shouldn't start posting so early in the day: just was irritated by an IM from our beloved leader when I signed on, commenting that I musn't refer infectees to another forum (even one specific to the problem).
