help needed!!

    Inifile scan
    No suspicious entries found
    Port scan
    No suspicious open ports found
    Memory scan
    No trojans found in memory
    File scan
    Found possible trojan file: C:\System Volume Information\_restore{02C46FB4-B062-42D5-AB06-45D64D0F23EE}\RP196\A0034054.exe (Possible trojan downloader)
    Found possible trojan file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\service.exe (Suspicious: UPX-packed file in Windows System folder)
    2 possible trojan files found

    this is what trojanhunter found john...

    Hi john,

    This one C:\System Volume Information\_restore{02C46FB4-B062-42D5-AB06-45D64D0F23EE}\RP196\A0034054.exe is in your System Restore, so not very urgent.

    Can Trojan Hunter delete C:\WINDOWS\system32\service.exe for you?

    I only downloaded the evaluate version to try out i cant see anywhere on it to fix any trojans john..

    Even TH can't delete the file if Windows is holding it open; but you can boot into Safe Mode and delete it from there .. try that first. ;)

    Thanks Pieter and Randy,
    I have now deleted both files, thank you very much!! i am still holding TDS is that better than trojan hunter in your opinion..

    Hi john,

    I never said that, and Randy probably never will. :p
    Both programs are good protection against trojans IMO.
    We just use different ones.

    You can try them out both and see what you like best.
