I formatted my 2nd drive to ext4 with gparted but I cannot move any files to it. its like I lost permission to my drive :ouch:

and there is a folder named "lost+found" i cant delete it. o_O

even after formatting again lost+found is still there and I still can't move any files to it

lol I launched nautilus as admin and after i changed permissions I managed to delete lost+found and I am able to store files in the partition.

btw what is the default permissions for the 2nd drive to be used as storage?

    You should not delete lost+found.
It's for you to grab orphaned files in case of fsck problems.
Second, you merely need to change permissions for the mount point.

General recommendation: slow down before you delete anything.

It's owned by root, therefore here's what I do:

    su
    mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1
    mount /dev/sdb1 /mountpoint
    chown katio:katio /mountpoint
