Help in removing virus

Hi,
I have avira 10 premium security and ran a scan found a virus in C:\Windows\system32\user32.DL. The virus found was HEUR/Modified.SystemFile'. I cranked the settings up to high and despite this the file was ignored on full system scan.

Any comments would be appreciated.

What type of scan discovered that, if full didn't ?

Avira found it with it's Heuristics, so it "might" be a FP. Run the same scan again, and locate the file, then upload it to http://www.virustotal.com or http://virscan.org/ or http://scanner.virus.org and see if they detect anything.

 

it was discovered on full system scan when scanning for hidden files. It flagged the file as detection but when i checked the action by opening up avira interface and selecting events it said that the action 'ignored'. I find that quite strage as i have configured the settings to repair on first option and delete as second option.
