    separate issue for recovery.

I select the HDsuite 2010, on the bootable CD, for recovery.
I did NOT select the wizard.

    I tried to rESTORE

I point to the image from which to recover.

It tells me this is a complex archive, that I have to use the wizard?

how come I have to use a WIZARD, to recover from a complex archive?

If THAT is the case, then what is the purpose of the normal RESTORE button in the HDsuite 2010?

Simple Restore wizard works with Full HDD backups and separate Partitions backups.

Complex archive usually contains objects which should be restored separately (e.g. 2 partitions of 4 or MBR + one partition)

To restore an object from Complex archive:
    * Open main HDM program and go to Wizards - Restore wizard
    * Then select your Complex archive
    * In the list of objects select desired part of complex archive and continue the restore

    thanks for reply.

that is hwat I presumed, but when I go to the restore wizard, it only appears that the DRIVES THEMSELVES are present (the c:, and d:, archives, NOT the first track, or MBR

On the picture screenshot, it showed me the c:, (ntfs), d: (ntfs), but nothing more

    am I missing something?

I did not see a LIST of objects contained in the complex archive...

    thanks
    Nick

Could you please post here a screenshot of the partitions list instead of Complex Archive objects?
