Is there one soul that uses Macs on this site? http://apnews.myway.com/article/20040831/D84QC37G1.html
I think the new iMac G5 is very nice. But how to get rid of the heat generated from such a close enclosure? It's a "laptop" really ... hmmm ... d;-)
I don't know how they get rid of the heat. My amd has three fans and I can no longer hear out of my left ear!
Ha! you brought a smile to my face again Ron...you manage to say it all in a word... ... My Son came by to-day, he has the latest Apple Lap-top (or Notebook), never have grasped the difference....to show me the new aquisition....he's an IT Graduate and programmer extraordinaire so to speak and he has a Mac installed on this piece of kit, ( he thinks it is the way to go)........but whilst he was attempting to show me what it could do (which is a lot I might add) he had the film 'The Matrix' running as a small Window all the time??.....made my head ache....so I came to the conclusion that everything is good, it just depends on what you actually want to do with it....Right?.......... Cochise,
My brother is Mac to the core. (We fought a lot as kids ) He uses the wireless features on his notebook everywhere he goes. He even bought a gadget so he sit can on the couch and surf!
Well, what can I say, we must be sympatico......my Boy, who I love dearly by the way, is wireless equipped and can use his gizmos all around his House.. (Boring B+++++d)... ....But is he HAPPY..... ...for a start, he wouldn't know Wilders if he fell over it ..........so whose REALLY ahead of the game........ Cochise,
It bothers me at times when you mention security to mac users. You know, their eyes glaze over and they look they may pass out at any time.
Oh My God......need I say more........... ....I mentioned Security with regard to Mac and 'Wireless' and he looked like he was frozen in time!!... ....isn't life wonderful when your children get the feeling that they have just been pooped on by their parents and they kind of realise that they DON'T know everything............. and then have to go into 'Waffle' mode.. In the hope they can blind you with science. I just love this cut and thrust.....my Son (he's 3 has at least 24 years head start on me as far as Computers are concerned but he's STILL not sure whether or not I know more than him (which believe me, I don't)..but you know what they say about Bullshine baffling brains..... Cochise,
