I have just built a new system and am having some hardware problems I thought someone at Wilders might be able to help me with. I have two removable drives attached to the system and one ROM drive (DVVD Burner) The system does not boot properly. Either the ROM boots or one of the drives boots. I am trying to re-imaghe my drive with a TrueImage 8 file. The problem is if the ROM boot then it does not recognize the drives. Shoud I have everything configured like this?:

    First drive: Master
    2nd Drive: Slave
    ROM: Slave

If not what would be the proper configuartion to get everything working? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are using a dual channel IDE mobo, set the all the devices for cable select. Pop the hard drive on IDE0, and the other two on IDE1. When you reboot they should be in the right place.

    Trekk!
