Hardware errors

    wat a good software to check ur pc for errors?

    For example a software that does a Chkds or scans the computer for hardware failure or hardware errors etc etc??

    For hardware failures-Control Panel-System-Hardware-Device Manager.

    PC Wizard 2008 is good for hardware info.

    somethings thats scans my pc and tells em if my ram is faulty or something bad, scans my hard disk for anything bad like bad clusters etc.. (i know win has a CHDSk).

    But i would like a free product.

    There's a bunch of tools for that stuff. I'll list what I usually use..

    RAM testing: Memtest86+ (Run this for at least 2 hours)
    CPU testing: Stress Prime (Run this for at least 2 hours)
    GPU testing: ATITool (artifact scanning)
    HDD testing: HDTune (error scanning)
    Hardware info: PCWizard

    Everything above is completely free.
    I've been using them for years and they are all safe to use without getting hit by malware. Hope it helps!
