Harden Firefox with Comodo D+

    In D+ go to "Computer Security Policy" > Defense + Rules tab. Find your Firefox on the list, highlight it and click on "Edit". Click on the "Customize" link. Then the "Protection Settings" tab. Check all 4 of the boxes to "Active".

    And by all means do this with any other programs you feel the need to (particularly internet-facing ones), but beware that it can break functionality with some things... I know it does for IE8.

    I use it for VLC media player too.
