hard failing any recomaditions

    hard failing Airflow temp error

    my HDD showing bad results any other recommendations rather than backup

    problem is airflow it get heated

    also recomadition for SSD compatable with Linux as i am new to SSD

    i have sata 3 port and speed is not priority but durability

    so far i got to these two OCZ Agility 3 and Corsair Force Series 3 for 60/120 Gb

    Not sure about that airflow thingie what it means exactly, but that's trivial.
    Unless the temperature is really, REALLY high, nothing bad will happen.
    I had disks run at 50degC for months without issues.

    The top temp reached, 57° C degrees, is pretty high. Perhaps a peak reached during last summer?
    Afaik, 60-65 is kinda max for HDD's. Above, deterioration goes much faster.
    Current 42 degrees is completely normal and SMART status is A-OK, so all good.
    Reg. SSD's, also look at the Samsung 830 and Crucial M4.

    i move desktop hardisk little more inside also clean front side of cabinate pity thing is i dont have any front fan on my desktop cabinate rest 3 fans all working well :rolleyes:

    now temp is around 25-27 on my same hardisk i try keep it there and remove some data :)
