Hi, I am running Windows7 (64 bit). I uninstalled HDM 12, restarted the computer and then tried to install HDM 14 (free upgrade) After running the .exe I got this in a pop-up: "Error reading setup initialization file" I searched the knowledge-base and it suggested I install via the command prompt. http://kb_wp.paragon-software.com/article/592 There is no msi file in the .../AppData/Local/Temp/ folder. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I searched for the error message on google and found another forum where another person was getting this error installing a different application... turns out the .exe I downloaded was corrupt. I re-downloaded it with IE (instead of Opera) and the install went flawlessly.
