    NY Times security--Norton. Norton claims the Times didn't have it's hips/bb turned on.

    They should put the old gray lady out of her misery. Not a journalist in the bunch of 'em.

    Yeah because as we all know it's the AV software's duty to keep a network entirely secure, the sysadmin just eats donuts.

    These guys in China don't seem to realize that by attacking arguably the most prestigious newspaper in the world, they are actually achieving the opposite of what was originally intended namely retribution for one of the Times articles. As a result the original article is now circulating all over the place again creating renewed embarrassment for the politician implicated.

    The hackers are looking for the Times sources - esp. sources inside their government that leaked the details about their past Prime Minister's shady business deals that netted him and his family three billion dollars.
