guard.exe post-trial

    After my trial period ended a few days ago, I noticed the guard.exe was still an active process. I thought the guard feature terminated after the program reverts to the free version, with just the scanner functional. Am I thinking of the Active Guard feature? If so, what is guard.exe for?
